He managed to keep the dance floor jammed all night which is no mean feat at any wedding. He took direction from us (re) our music style and really ran with it - the mix was just right and so many people commented on how good the music was for all. Highly recommend! We got married on 1 October in Dublin and hosted our wedding reception in the Ballroom at Fallon & Byrne, after having met in Dublin 6 years prior while both of us studied at Trinity College. To say our return to Dublin was a homecoming of sorts is an understatement, and we were highly meticulous in our research process to find the very best vendors to work with given we had 100 friends and family from America flying in. We planned the wedding remotely and worked with Waterlily weddings who shared Darragh's details with us fairly early in our process. After highly engaging conversations we booked our contract and worked in the intervening months on our tentative playlist. Shortly before the wedding Darragh and we reviewed our songs, further discussed the vibe we were going for (as young 20-somethings living in NYC, vibe was PARTY!) and we handed the reins over to him. When Darragh arrived and set up at our reception and got the music going, we do not exaggerate saying that EVERYONE hit the dance floor and did not leave until we were kicked out ~5 hours later at 2am. I've never been at a wedding where the music being played continued to engage the crowd for hours at a time - it was a truly magical time that we are so happy to have experienced.

					We had Darragh DJ and MC out wedding and I couldn’t have asked for a better fit! Very well prepared, able to source additional equipment for the ceremony and reception... read more to save you a lot of hassle and reduce then risk of possible malfunctions! He has been in the business for 35 years and certainly knows how to read the room and match the music accordingly! It felt like a grand scale production the way he seamlessly organised the guests and grabbed their attention as needed from the speeches to the first dance. We had a few performers I’ve the evening and he announced them all fabulously and even started an impromptu/ spontaneous river dance that was orchestrated solely by Darragh and turned out to be the highlight of the night for all involved! Highly highly recommend booking him for a stress free evening. He has seen it all and gave us very good advice leading up to our special day <3
